Annotated Bibliography

Bolloten, Burnett. The Spanish Revolution. USA: The grand camouflage, 1968.

My source is a book about the Spanish revolution, it explains the left and the struggle for power during the civil war. While reading some pages of this book I find out that there was two groups fighting for the power, the nationalists and the republicans. This book really helped me with my research question because it is very descriptive about the Spanish revolution.

QQC

Quote: "The up-stroke of the blade cut his hairs with a rasping sound. The noise stopped. Blood splashed bright over the white lather, ran down his throat and painted a river."

Question: Was uncle Jose trying to commit suicide?

Comment: On the autobiography the forging of a rebel, Arturo Barea is wondering about people having hairs all over the body, he thinks that women shouldn't have hair, but sometimes the grow some on their upper lips, especially when they are old; while uncle Jose is shaving he suddenly cuts himself, but I wonder if it was an accident or he was trying to commit suicide.
